PENNY WARS!
Our grade level Penny Wars will be held this week and next week. Each day, each general education classroom will receive a Ziploc bag with a recording sheet. Coins/bills will be collected daily and the Ziploc bags will be turned into Stefanie Dugger in the office; you will indicate how much was collected to add to your class and where you want to strategically place your silver (totals confirmed by Stefanie).
The leaderboard will be displayed in the office window and updated daily. (Since we are doing each grade level penny wars for a winner at each grade level - we had to come up with another way to track and display results - other than jars.) Current top three leaders in 4th, 5th, and 6th will be announced daily during morning announcements to help you determine how to strategically play the silver.
PLEASE promote this fundraiser via your messaging systems. We will also be posting to the district's Facebook page and will prepare a flyer to send home with students.
Pennies/Bills = points for your class
Silver = negative points to be played strategically against another class
The Penny Wars classroom winners from each grade level will receive a classroom pizza party! SO excited to see how much we can raise for our school!
